Nature declares His praises, so will I (April 2, 2019)

There are so many things to thank the Lord for. As life continues, it seems that God keeps reminding me to slow down and walk closely with Him, it is incredible what the human eye can see in such a living.

God is moving astonishingly all over the Earth! The pictures of the vast mountains remind me of how nature proclaims God directly in it's being. Such places reveal the creative mind and beauty of God.

Psalm 66:4 "All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name."

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

As creation sings praises to God, so will I, as a creation made in God's image sing praises to God. I'm not sure why it is so common for humankind to forget that we have been created in God's image. What does it mean to sing praises to God?

It means giving praise to God at all times, yes life will have its challenges, yet God is God. I find that such a perspective helps me find Peace no matter the season or situation I am facing. When I sing, as I am learning here in Africa, I want to sing from my heart with all that I am. Thus yields my life to be an open vessel for the Lord to shape and use. I only share to show the reality of this relationship with the Lord. As God is doing this in my life, He can do the same and even better for you! When a person chooses to sing praises to the Lord, not only is one's heart set right, the song that one sings is heard from the heart by those around. Thus, the body of Christ is encouraged, and light brought into darkness. God is already in and among every space of the Earth. It is as if our heart song brings to life the voice of God for those who can not find or hear it. In praise, there is no bliss in ignorance. Instead, there is a shifting of heart and perspective. A wisdom that will last is found focusing on God and seeing how He continues to create in and through us. As we sing, healing comes, and the fog lifts even when life may still be difficult. And oh how sweet the singing comes in seasons of rejoicing. This is part of the heart song God has intended for humanity to hear and be transformed by His very heart.

What do you think?

No matter where you've been or where you are today... God has a heart song for you. If we take the time to see the heart of one another, we are taking time to try and see through the eyes of the Lord. God will help transform our hearts, how can we not praise the Lord when we slow down and honestly think about life and who God is. Who God is I believe, is more profound than what God does for us. May we be encouraged not to earn more of God's love, rather spend quality time in and with the Lord each day. With such a song, I promise we can see miracles every day. I will share more about that next time! Please feel free to comment if you disagree or agree and what your thoughts might be.
